As we start 2024, we have organised a bumper crop of webinars and discussion sessions, each one designed to help tackle common challenges and inform internal discussion and strategy. To save your seat, hit 'Register now'.

A combination of inflationary and labour market pressures in 2023 saw the highest pay awards we have recorded in over 10 years. Ongoing pressures and affordability remain a key concern for 2024. This free round table discussion session provides the opportunity for attendees to share challenges, plans and expectations for the year ahead, drawing on the key emerging trends from the pulse survey being run to support the session.

With more than half of employers reporting recruitment and retention difficulties in the autumn edition of the Paydata UK Reward Management Survey, what can employers do to retain their key talent? Pay will always form part of the equation, but with organisations also reporting affordability challenges and concerns around meeting employee expectations, employers will need to take a more rounded approach in the year ahead.

In this webinar, Sue Chesterman and Chrissie Saunders, from People Business, will explore the role of the human touch and key considerations for employers to engage and retain their key talent:

  • Is there room for love in a corporate environment?
  • Emerging trends shaping the workplace
  • A practical model for supporting the retention of talent

Employee benefits remain a critical topic for many employers, therefore we are welcoming back benefits expert Deb Sussex to share her advice on current challenges. In this interactive session, Deb will explore challenges with affordability, getting the foundations right and keeping your benefit offering up-to-date and relevant for your organisation. There will be time during the webinar to cover the specific challenges you have and have a good discussion.

The planned introduction of the EU Pay Transparency Directive has left many employers questioning what it will mean for them. Whilst compliance will only be mandatory for employers in EU Members States, it is likely it will be voluntarily adopted by employers outside of the EU, particularly by those operating internationally. Susannah Donaldson, Partner and Co-Lead in Global Equality Law and Lesley Finlayson, Associate at Pinsent Masons join us to provide clarity on:

  • Current pay transparency requirements in UK.
  • The new EU pay transparency requirements under the CSRD and the Pay Transparency Directive.
  • What these new requirements are, who will be impacted and when they will come into effect.
  • How will they impact businesses in UK.
  • What steps should businesses be taking now in anticipation of these developments.

Please note, this is a change from the date previously advertised - this webinar will now take place on 27th March, NOT 14th March.
