As the business has grown, Helen’s role has diversified and she is responsible for the running of the office, accounts and payroll.
It is Helen’s eleventh year with Paydata which has seen her progress from working in sales support, organising and encouraging participation in our HR groups. Helen also supported the data services team in checking the salary survey reports before they were sent to customers.
Helen’s deep understanding of Paydata and how we deliver for our customers means that she is perfectly placed to wear many hats! She supports the managing director as her executive PA, creating and analysing employee surveys to ensure that everyone at Paydata understands and takes on board feedback directly from our customers. Helen brings important expertise to the team to ensure its smooth running, which covers managing all major renovation projects, office moves, office supplies and contracts.
Helen’s HR role includes day to day book-keeping and credit control, placing job advertisements, screening applicants, drawing up new employee contracts, managing payroll, pensions and salary sacrifice schemes, new starter inductions, life assurance and other staff policies. Helen particularly enjoys the fun element of organizing all staff socials and Paydata’s annual Christmas trip.
Helen really enjoys baking, especially novelty cakes which began when her children started demanding crazy cakes!
