Paydata take on 20km charity walk in aid of their charity of the year

As part of our 2019 charitable activities, on the 29th June the Paydata team are completing a 20km walk in the Peak District, to raise money for our charity of the year.

Our chosen charity of the year is the Children’s Ward at Peterborough City Hospital (part of the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund, Registered Charity No. 1050601), specifically the area of paediatric cardiology. The charity serves to improve patient experience at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Donations received are used to purchase equipment that improves patient care. Donations are also used to pay for education opportunities for staff so that they can improve the care they provide to patients.

Our fundraising efforts have already seen us raise nearly £1,200 towards our £2,500 target, through activities including making a donation in lieu of sending Christmas cards, a 'February Footfall' steps challenge, an Easter bake sale and raffle, as well as donations already made towards the upcoming charity walk.

Other fundraising activities planned include the return of the popular 'Battle of the Businesses' quiz night and the reappearance of our festive Paydata Bell-ringers.
