Joining the team as Lead Consultant in 2019, Melanie uses her passion and enthusiasm for Reward to partner with customers and deliver their people strategy.
Before joining Paydata, Melanie worked as an interim Reward professional for more than 11 years and before that enjoyed a 12 year permanent career. Her career has been varied, working across many different organisations and industries, including FMCG, Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Oil, Retail and Service Sectors – for international as well as UK-focused organisations. Having pursued a career in Reward early on, she started as a Compensation & Benefits Analyst and worked her way up to Senior Reward roles. She has also worked as an Expatriate Manager and in a variety of generalist HR roles.
As Paydata’s Lead Consultant, Melanie partners with new and existing customers, providing her long-standing expertise as a specialist advisor. By understanding their Reward and HR needs, she is then able to design, develop and implement solutions that meet their current and future people needs. Melanie brings with her a passion and enthusiasm for Reward as well as drive, integrity and high standards.
Melanie’s biggest passion is skiing – spending as much time as she can in the mountains with her husband who shares a love of skiing in the winter and walking in the summer. Describing herself as “a keen but slow runner”, after completing her first half marathon in 2018, she plans to make this a biannual goal. Originally from South Yorkshire, Melanie says “my accent gets stronger when I visit extended family!” Melanie and her husband have become Great Auntie and Uncle five times over in the last four years, so they can often be found doing fun things with the children like dressing up as superheroes or getting on the trampoline.
“I am very excited to be joining the Paydata family, delivering unique solutions to our customers based on their needs and our expertise, rather than a one size fits all.”
