Emma has over 20 years’ experience in Sales and Strategic Partnerships across a variety of sectors.
After University, Emma worked in retail at GAP, going on to take her first role in Publishing: selling subscriptions for a local magazine publisher. She went on to work for a number of leading publishing houses on brands including Edge, Marie Claire and Ideal Home where she progressed to Commercial Director at Bauer Media. Emma then moved to the not-for-profit sector as Deputy Head of Strategic Partnerships at the Royal Society of Chemistry working with global FMCG companies creating and managing large charitable projects. More recently, Emma worked as Sales Director for an Events Agency and prior to Paydata, worked with FTSE 250 companies at Mimeo selling IT solutions to HR Directors and Heads of Learning and Development.
Emma works with both existing and new Paydata customers, understanding their role and their organization, identifying together how Paydata’s extensive portfolio of services can best support their pay and reward requirements. She enjoys engaging directly with customers: talking through their challenges, issues affecting their industry, the desired outcomes from working together and analysing the results – ensuring that Paydata delivers the right result for our partners.
Emma enjoys taking the opportunity to relax, reflect and re-connect; she likes running and has been known to enter races but says, “10k is my limit!” Films are Emma’s big passion, having studied Media and Film at University and she loves going to the cinema or staying at home with a good action movie. Developing new skills is really important to Emma so she is currently learning sign language as well as training to be a proof-reader. She also enjoys cooking, especially with her six-year-old son.
I joined in April 2018 as Paydata’s values really resonated with me. Plus, following our rebrand and vision for the future, it’s a very exciting time to be joining the Paydata team! I will professionally represent Paydata when meeting and speaking with our customers, present the brand clearly in proposals and build brand awareness as I am committed to driving customer loyalty.
