Employers’ Associations

Members of an association or trade body have similar types of jobs.  These usually are in a particular industry or discipline. 

At a business level they may compete with each other.  They need a way of exchanging pay and benefits data that is both confidential and legal.  The association itself may also want to give its members benchmarking data as a benefit of their membership.

One example is our Construction Industry Salary Survey.  We collect and analyse data from member companies about a range of roles that most of them have in common.

Professional Institutes and Associations

These bodies mainly have individual members.  The members may be in the same profession or have a common qualification.

As an example, we conduct an annual on-line survey for a membership organisation.  People completing the survey are business school alumni. 

Our survey collects and analyses data about post-graduate career paths.  It includes details on salaries earned over time (both fixed and variable), positions and roles reached, and movement across employment functions and sectors.
