Case Study One A major UK organisation in the construction industry uses PAYdata not only as a provider of salary benchmarking data but also to help it get the most from other pay benchmarking data sources. The company provides us with a download from its payroll/HR system. We use this to provide input data for two of the salary surveys we run, one for specialist construction sector roles and another for senior executives. Case Study TwoWe use a similar approach for another client, one of the leading telecoms providers. In this case the company gives us the data submission they have completed for a 3rd party survey. We use this to provide the data for a survey we have developed for the retail technology sector as well as a multi-industry survey we run for UK call centres. Again we try to keep the hassle of completing our surveys to a minimum. In this case we have one further use for the data. The client also wants to benchmark their generic roles with the wider market, such as Finance, HR, IT and Sales. We are able to match their data into our PAYanalyst database, enabling us to report back where their employees fit within the market. |
